  • Bananas in the Bath

Hi! I'm Alexandra Elliot. I create children's illustrations for books, editorials and surface pattern design.

I have always loved design and after school I went on to further my studies at Nottingham Trent University where I graduated with a BA (Hons) Degree in Textile Design. I then went on to the London University of the Arts to study Illustration.

I have been incredibly lucky to work with clients across the globe and with over twelve years of experience, I have worked across a wide array of products including books, puzzles, greetings cards, stationery, paper products, wall art, apparel and toys.

  • Rock-a-Bye, Forever

Naya Kirichenko is a Ukrainian illustrator living in Istanbul, Turkey. She studied monumental and decorative arts at the St. Petersburg Stieglitz Academy, but in her fourth year decided to leave and embark on her own creative journey. Traveling through the Middle East in search of inspiration, she spent time selling her paintings on the streets before discovering the world of children’s book illustration.

Since then, Naya has illustrated numerous picture books in collaboration with international authors, bringing stories to life with warmth, whimsy, and emotional depth. Her illustrations often carry a nostalgic, folkloric touch, shaped by her travels and artistic explorations. Beyond books, she continues to develop personal projects and take part in exhibitions, always searching for new ways to tell stories through images.

    Hey there!

My name is Sandra. I'm the artist behind those colourful children's book illustrations that make you smile.

I've studied animation and graphic design. For years I have worked as freelance animator and graphic designer. This has given me the technical and social skills to handle projects on my own. But something was missing.

In 2023 I decided to follow my dream of becoming a children's book illustrator. One year later I finished my first 3 picture books.

What I love about illustrating is to be able to tell a story with a single image. To visualize an idea or really add something to a text. In my exploration of my style I found that I love humor. I believe that a touch of humor can brighten anyone's day, and that's why I love creating illustrations with quirky characters and unexpected twists.

When I'm not hunched over my drawing tablet you can find me enjoying the outdoors. Soaking in the beauty of nature and gathering inspiration from the world around me. I love to travel, and especially have a love for small fisher towns with narrow streets.

Some thoughts that I strongly believe in is that we all need to let go a bit more of the rules we think the world has. Don't follow the mainstream all the time. Test the boundaries and find our unique selves.
